If after 5 years of professional experience, you still have to present your profile in an open platform like this, it may indicate that you lack any standout qualities to attract employers and haven't achieved significant milestones in your professional life.

Sanjeev,

I found your post completely unethical and unprofessional. I am sorry I am commenting on your post in an open forum like this, but please try to change your attitude. It speaks volumes with just one sentence of yours.

Hi Venkatraman,

Greetings! We currently have a vacancy for an Executive/Senior Executive HR in our organization. However, after reviewing your profile, I regret to inform you that I am unable to consider you for the position.

We are an IT company seeking someone with previous experience in the same domain. Additionally, we require a candidate who excels in technical recruitments as this aspect will constitute approximately 60% of the job profile.

I wish you all the best in your pursuit of a suitable job.

Warm Regards,
Gaurang

hi

greetings...

Just reading some recent posts in this Forum. Well, it’s very much true that it's not the right platform to exchange resumes, but i have some questions to ask my fellow frnd who has given his feedback on such post.

it seems you are too harsh to the person and his way of approach, though you are very right from HR perspectives, but do you think it's the right way to reply him back publicly, if he has done some mistakes by sharing his profile in public and u didn't like, does it mean that HR professionals should be too reactive on his deed and reply him back so openly in such a rude manner?, wasn’t it possible to tell him the truth, may be thru his personal id? or just to ignore his posts ? there are so many irrelevant posts are floating in this forum. Was that necessary to directly hit him saying that "he has not learnt anything so far”? or his apprach is not profession, as per your definition of profesionalism, Is it wrong to seek out opportunities, if any? Even if i need someone badly as HR professional to meet the deadline.. wont i took this cv as an opportunity to find a potential resource for my organization?

Other than this, just think there is also a positive side lying of sharing such infos in Hr forums, a cv is not just a summery of a person and his jobs, it also helps us to understand some of different approaches of practicing HR in different industries (sometimes... ). so why don’t we take his post positively rather than saying him harsh words and demoralizing him like this

well.. it is just my personal opinion.. i may not be correct.. but i felt bad, not because a member been insulted by a fellow member.. but observing HR people are insulting people in a Public forum???

best regards

Dear Gaurang,

This is Srinivas. I am a management graduate with HR as my specialization. I believe I am the right person for the opening because I have over 1 year of experience in IT requirements. Could you please let me know the number of years of experience you are seeking for this position?

Kind regards,
Srinivas

There is nothing "unethical or unprofessional" in what I quoted, and there is nothing to feel sorry about. One should go to the right platform and the right place to get things that he or she needs. You cannot sell potatoes and onions at a clothing shop... can you???

Sanjeev,

If you are talking about the right platform and the right place, then I'll say yes, this is the right place and platform for many aspiring/experienced people to post their resumes, and not just a knowledge exchange forum. I log into this site every day, and for every 20 posts, at least I'll find 1 or 2 who would have posted their resumes seeking help from many HR professionals.

I don't think anybody has received this kind of harsh comments from any of the site's HR members before. I think you should read the posting guidelines before posting. Please read through the guidelines; it will give you an idea.

And my dear, you definitely made a direct attack on Venkataraman. Me being a third person, not able to digest your rude behavior, I really appreciate Mr. Venkataraman's patience for taking this at ease.

Regards,
Roopa
