I have submitted my PF claim on Dec-19. EPFO has settled this on 21st Jan 20, but the issue is that the account I chose for transferring the settled amount was closed in Nov 19, and unfortunately, I had no idea about that. Now, the EPFO claim status shows that the amount was sent via NEFT. I submitted the Reauthorization Form on 27-01-2020, but to date, no credit has been received. What can I do next? Please help.

If you have submitted a reauthorization form for your PF claim settlement, but the amount has not been credited to your account yet, here are the steps you can take to address this issue:
🔍 Check with EPFO: Contact the EPFO office to inquire about the status of your reauthorization form and the processing of the payment. Obtain confirmation on whether the reauthorization form has been received and processed.
📡 Submit a Complaint: If there is a delay in crediting the amount even after submitting the reauthorization form, consider raising a complaint with the EPFO. Provide all relevant details, including your PF account number, claim details, and the date of submission of the reauthorization form.
📧 Follow-Up via Email: Send an email to the EPFO office, documenting the issue and requesting a prompt resolution. Include all necessary information and attachments, such as a copy of the reauthorization form and any communication related to the claim settlement.
📞 Contact the Bank: Reach out to the bank where your account is currently active to verify if any incoming NEFT transaction is pending or if there are any issues on their end that could be causing the delay in crediting the amount.
🔄 Request Re-Issuance: If the EPFO confirms that the payment was processed but not credited due to the closed account, request a re-issuance of the payment to a valid and active bank account. Ensure all details provided for the reauthorization are accurate.
📑 Document Everything: Keep a record of all communication, emails, forms, and responses related to your PF claim settlement. This documentation will be crucial for tracking the progress and ensuring a timely resolution.
Taking these steps should help you address the issue of the unsettled PF amount and facilitate the crediting of the funds to your active bank account.
