Dear all,

I have a query regarding the sandwich leave policy. The partnership firm I'm working with has implemented the sandwich leave policy. After the implementation, I requested a half day's leave on 27th January, which is a Saturday, and I will be joining the office in the second half of the day on Friday, 26th January, which is a holiday (Republic Day).

My question is, can this be considered as sandwich leave?

If so, how would they deduct the salary?

Hi, Sandwich leave will not be applicable in this case. It is not a combined holiday having working day in the middle hence sandwich leave will not apply.
