Hi Everyone, I want to leave this job as it is very disorganized, and my employer is overburdening me. I have informed him about the family reasons and politely conveyed that due to these reasons, I won't be able to work for some time. I asked him if he would consider temporary hiring, but he is now threatening to send a legal notice. He is demanding that I serve a 30-day notice period or provide him with two months' salary for his losses. I joined in May and worked until July. Towards the end of July and in August, I was preoccupied, so I expressed my desire to discontinue.
Please advise if he can pursue any legal action against me. He has also terminated several employees abruptly, instructing them to seek alternative employment.
