Employee Joined 23/dec/2014 And Left On 19/jun/2023 - how can I round off? He completed 8 years 5months 27 days. Year round off 8 or 9 or 8.6

Any fraction - less than 6 months can be ignored and more than 6 months to 1 year. In the given case, 8 years of service need to be considered for the purpose of computation of payment of gratuity.

Hi, Gratuity to be paid for 8 years. As per Gratuity act service period anything beyond 6 months in the last year can be rounded off .
