Hi, The foremost and primary HR skill to improve is communication, both verbal and written. I would say communication skill is the backbone of HR, so focus on it as the number one skill. All other skills you will gain through experience. Rather than reading a book about recruitment, get involved in recruitment activities practically, which will help you understand the nuances of recruitment.
