Is EPF Deduction Required for Employees Earning Over 15,000 with a Previous UAN?

Dear All respected Experts Is it necessary to deduct EPF of the employee having PF wages above 15000/- and he/she is also having the UAN from previous employment

Hi, Yes PF to be deducted on actual Basic+DA (based on Employer discretion) or PF can be deducted @ Rs.15000/-

Dear V.M. Lakshminarayanan, thank you for the reply. Can you also confirm if the employee has withdrawn the EPF & EPS share before joining the establishment? If so, is it still necessary for EPF deduction?
