If an employee who joined the organization six years ago with a starting basic salary of Rs 30k monthly, can now be registered in the EPF with a present basic salary of Rs 50k monthly? He was never a member of the EPF.

Hi, If he is already a contributing member to PF, he can continue to contribute to PF. PF can be deducted either on actual Basic (employer discretion)or minimum for Rs.15000/-

He was never a member of PF before and now after six years of service he wants to get registered in EPF. And during joining & now both times his basic salary was above 15k.
