Suppose an employee is already an EPF member or registered in EPF, but now states they are not interested in EPF and do not want EPF deductions. What process should we follow in this situation?

EPF Membership Requirements

If someone is working in an organization covered under EPFO and the employee is also a covered employee, then he/she has to be a member of EPF and will continue as a member even if his/her wages exceed the coverage limit until becoming an excluded member. It cannot be as per the wish or will of any person.

If employee was covered in EPFO and employer is also registered in EPFO, he/she has to be covered in EPFO.
