I have submitted some proposed activities to my boss to set my upcoming targets. He requires tangible KRAs against the tasks. Please advise on the following points:

Traveling

Training coordination

Housekeeping responsibilities

Event and celebration activities

Hi, You need to elaborate on your role in the above tasks. For example, what will be your role related to the task of traveling? Will you be coordinating with the travel agent to book tickets, or will you book tickets on your own?

Training coordination: Make it in-depth. How will you identify training requirements? Who will conduct the training, and what will be your role in the training?

Housekeeping responsibilities/Event and celebration activities: Similar to the above activities, elaborate on your role in these activities as well.

Dear Sonia Negi,

While measuring the work done, we need to measure either the costs or ratios associated with the individual, department, or organization. The measurement of the costs and ratios is called KRAs. Additionally, each KRA should meet the SMART principle as well. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bound. A KRA that does not meet the SMART principle is not a KRA at all.

Now find out what the measurable component is in the activities you have mentioned. For further information, you may refer to the following reply:

Otherwise, I have been giving replies on the concepts of KPIs, KRAs, PMS, etc., for years. You may click the following link to refer to one of the replies:
