I am from Ahmedabad, but I fully agree with @Vmlakshminarayanan. IR is a practical job. Nobody can teach it unless you experience the ground-level reality. How you handle the situation practically defines your skill. Yes, of course, skills can be enhanced and sharpened by day-to-day interaction with various stakeholders.

Seek suggestions from them, as this can often lead to valuable insights. By actively listening and involving others in the discussion, you may discover solutions that were not apparent before. In my opinion, there is no book that can fully teach the intricacies of interpersonal relationships (IR).
