A person joined on 13/10/2000 as security. Until 23/1/2017, he continued his service. From 24/1/2017, he was absent, but from 2/3/2020, he returned to duty. On 23/3/2020, he reported for duty again. From 1/4/2021, he is now requesting EL and SL. Can we grant it to him?

He has come back to work and is working since April 2021. Since he has worked for a year, why do you feel he should not get his leave?

The employee was absent for over 3 years and has been working continuously since April 1, 2021. As of November 2022, the employee is entitled to leave after working for more than one year. This entitlement has nothing to do with the past absenteeism.
