Anywhere in India, government-aided schools are following the State Education Department's guidance regarding pay scale, leave rules, etc. Nowadays, whether private or government-aided, schools are engaging contractual employees through contractors for positions such as sweepers, security, etc. In my opinion, those contractors are supposed to pay the minimum wages set by the State to the concerned employees and ensure compliance with PF and ESIC.
