We have an employee who worked with us from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, the company name changed. He has reached out to us stating he lost the experience letter and has requested a re-issue.

Questions regarding re-issuing experience letters

My questions are:

1) Can the experience letter up to 2017 be provided on the new latest letterhead of the company?

2) What should be the date of issuance of the letter (Older/Fresh)?

Please suggest! Thanks

You can issue a fresh certificate with revised date (date of preparation of certificate) and have it issued on the latest letter head of the company, mentioning his tenure of service.
