I received an offer letter, resigned from my current company, hired my replacement, and trained them. However, when I went to join my new employer, they had already hired someone without informing me. What should I do? Please guide me.

When I asked the reason, they said we needed someone urgently (I was serving 1 month notice & their HR left 20 days before my joining).
They told me that it was a hiring miscommunication when I went there on the joining day.
They sent me back home, called me in the evening, and said, "I will take you on my team - Admin."
Yesterday, I went for joining, and they took me in as an HR Executive, but it seems they are finding a way to terminate me as only 1 HR is affordable by them, whereas we are 2 HR now.
I am afraid as HR doesn't share any data when I was told to go and work there. After this, I go and ask my reporting manager about the same; he told me to meet the owner today.

As an employer, I have a different story. I hired an accountant and gave him an offer letter, offering the package he asked for without any bargaining. I stopped hiring or looking for another person once the offer was accepted. However, just before he was about to join, I received a message stating that he would not be joining as his current company had offered him a higher salary. This situation has caused me trouble as I now have to restart the entire process of finding a suitable candidate. I had to turn down many candidates assuming the vacancy was already filled.
