I worked in an MNC until 6th June 2021, and I joined a startup company on 17th March 2021 as they required immediate hiring, and my previous company was downsizing due to the COVID-19 crisis. This startup company does not deduct any PF. However, I have received a relieving letter dated 6th June 2021 from the MNC. Will this cause any issues in my new company? If so, how can I prevent any potential problems? Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Since the poster was officially declared by the MNC on 06-06-2021, he would be deemed to be in the employment of the MNC up to that date, even though he joined the start-up on 17-03-2021. So the period from 17-03-21 to 06-06-21 would be treated as dual employment. It's better to get the relieving date rectified from the MNC.

Since the poster was already a subscriber to EPF, the start-up is bound to continue the same.

Another important aspect I forgot to address in my previous post is clarifying whether the relieving letter is dated belatedly as 06-06-21 or if the date of relieving is mentioned inadvertently as 06-06-21. Unless the poster was actually relieved some time before, he could not have joined the startup on 17-03-21.
