I have a query while registering a new employee in EPF. The monthly salary of an employee is Rs. 10,050/-. However, it was mistakenly entered as Rs. 100,050/-. When uploading the ECR, an error is encountered stating "employee is not coming under the pension scheme."
Now, my question is, can we correct the salary from Rs. 100,050 to Rs. 10,050 so that the employee will be eligible for the pension scheme?
Looking forward to your kind suggestion.
Thanks and Regards

I have a somewhat related query. While registering a new employee for the first time as an EPF member, in the EPF monthly wages, I entered the proper monthly PF wages as 13,537/-. The joining date is 29 Jun 2021, and the salary was paid for 2 days. So, the PF wages for 2 days amount to 904.
During the ECR upload, an error is encountered stating: "Error EPS Contribution Remitted: Max equal to rounded 8.33% of EPS Wages added with rounded 1.16% of the EPS Wages above 15,000/-."
I kindly request a solution to this issue.
