Dear Team, I have a query, if the organisation comes under shops and establishments, can internship candidates get paid through bank?

Dear HRD-VK-Jewel, it may be noted that "stipend" is paid to the apprentices under the provisions of "The Apprentices Act, 1961". If you employ an "intern", then you will have to pay an "internship allowance". It is advisable to pay all the payments through cheque or online fund transfer. The cost head for the payment of internship allowance will be "Employee Cost".
