In banks, an entry-level Management Trainee is considered a Probationary Officer. What about the private companies who hire entry-level MBAs as Management Trainees? What is their actual designation? Some are confirmed as managers after the probation period. Please help me understand this.

Like fresh B.Tech students recruited by companies through campus recruitment, they are designated as Engineer Trainee - Production, Engineer Trainee - QC, Engineer Trainee - PPC, etc.
Similarly, depending on the domain, fresh MBAs can be designated as Executive Trainee - HR, Executive Trainee - Finance, Executive Trainee - Legal, Executive Trainee - Taxation, etc.
