My wife joined LIC on 7th February 2020. She was pregnant at the time of joining, and it was declared in her medical check-up. She worked for 42 days after the countrywide lockdown was declared due to the COVID-19 situation. In the meantime, we were advised by the employer not to leave the Head Office without permission. Thus, we received salaries for February, March, April, and May (115 days). On 1st June, we applied for maternity leave and left the Head Office to reach our hometown for the maternity period. However, we did not receive the salary for the month of June. Can she qualify for maternity leave, considering we received salaries for 115 days but only worked for 42 days?

Please guide us regarding the eligibility for maternity leave in this scenario.
