I have joined two IT private organizations. Is there any way that an organization can track me or the government may track me regarding that I have joined two organizations simultaneously? Is it illegal to join two different private organizations simultaneously? Is there any way for HR to find out that I have joined two different organizations? Will it be any offense in the future against me? Both organizations are contributing to the PF in the same UAN. Please suggest me.

Dear Member,

You have not specified whether you are a part-time employee or a full-time employee. Under your UAN, there will be two different PF member IDs. Please review your EPF Passbook. We are not aware of the terms and conditions of your appointment. Kindly provide all relevant details.

Thank you.

Government Tracking and PF Transfers

The government will definitely track, but it should be okay as long as you are an honest taxpayer. For every PF transfer, using the same UAN number is correct.

Company Policies and Dual Employment

When it comes to companies, if you are a full-time employee in both companies, the first thing to do is check your companies' privacy and confidentiality policies. Read both companies' policies and appointment letters first. Check all the confidential documents (if any) you have signed.

Many times, companies don't allow employees to work in another organization in the same field or with competitors. It's better to inform both companies to avoid any disciplinary or legal action.

Hello Shrikant, I am working full-time with two private organizations. In one of the organizations, I have signed a contract of employment stating that the employee cannot work anywhere else, and the PF contribution is made by both organizations.

Question about dual employment

Now, my question is: How could the organization find out if I am working elsewhere in another organization? Would either organization be aware that I am working full-time in two separate organizations? If so, how would they know that I am working in two separate organizations separately?
