All the contingencies for the reimbursement of the cost of out-station deputation of employees should be anticipated and included in the Travel Policy of the organization during its formulation stage. The employer cannot seek any other alternative simply because the deputation period happens to be longer than expected. The employer should not overlook the benefits to the organization that arise from such occasional extended periods of deputation.
