Hi,

My EPF claim was settled, but when I checked my passbook account, it states that the claim is settled but returned. Could you please let me know how I can get the amount back that was deducted now?

I have checked my UAN account and noticed that my bank account details have not yet been verified by my present employer, which might have caused this issue. I have raised a request to verify my bank account now, but I want to know the procedure to get the money back that was debited from my account.

Dear friend,

No need to worry about this issue. First of all, I would like to tell you that your claim request is not acceptable if your PF account does not have your bank account details or verified information. It seems that something went wrong with your bank. For this type of problem, we should submit the ASR form (available at the PF office), attested by you and your employer, at the PF office.

Thank you.

Hi Rashed,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I met with my HR team, and they informed me that the money will automatically be credited to my PF account within 10-15 days. After this, I can submit a claim once I have updated my bank details correctly in my PF account. They mentioned that in the past, we were required to fill out a form, but the process has now changed, and there is no need to fill out any form.

Could you please confirm if the information provided by my HR team is accurate?

Thank you,
Rashed

Please login with your UAN and password and check your bank account details and KYC, if everything is correct then check your claim status of if found any mistake that may reject again.
