Dear Poonam,

When a new employee joins, put his/her name along with their designation and the department they belong to, with a warm welcome message on the Notice Board. Call all the staff to the Conference Hall and introduce the new recruit to everybody. Sit with the new recruit after these introductions to explain the rules and regulations by providing the company manual along with their training schedule. Take the person to all the departments and help them become better acquainted with the organization. On their first day, take them out for lunch.

Every evening, once their schedule is completed, ask them to provide feedback on that day's training in a concise manner on a sheet of paper. After they have completed all their joining formalities and training, hand over their Appointment letter. Make the person comfortable by providing the required resources for them to function effectively.

Regards,
Lavanya :)

Poonam,

Apart from what Lavanya has mentioned, you can send an intro mail to the team. A template is attached, which helps everyone to know about the person, even if anyone missed the intro session. It will really help.

Cheers,
Viranchi
