The recent Gazette Notification (Extraordinary) No. 561 dated 25.09.2019 states that employers who have engaged 5 to 30 employees should opt for the Apprentice Programme, with a requirement ranging from 2.5% to 15% of their workforce.
Could you kindly clarify if ESI coverage is mandatory? (Hope there is no need for EPF coverage).
In the service sector, such as Shops and Establishments, what training will be implemented, and what records need to be maintained for the same?
