Hello, I am an HR Manager at an IT company. I need help with the salary structure in a proper format. We have to calculate all components based on basic + DA or HRA. I have seen various formats but need a perfectly correct format with rates. Can anybody help me with this?

Dear Shivani, most of the contributions on salary structure are appropriate, especially in this esteemed group. A salary structure needs to have Basic + DA + HRA components (as per rates prescribed by state/central government) and PF/ESIC/PT/MLWF as per standard rates or at rates given by the respective state government. The rest of the components are to be decided by the company.

What is your understanding of a perfect/correct format? You obviously are looking for certain criteria, which you need to elaborate on to receive relevant replies.
