In view of withdrawal of medical/ conveyance allowances , which heading/component be included in simple salary structure.

Hi Rajiv, What is the need for removal of those components/heads in salary structure? Though the slab has been fixed in the IT now they can be kept as it is.

Dear Rajiv,

You can choose to show it or not, as it will not affect the Income Tax since the standard exemption of INR 40,000 is allowed, including medical and conveyance.
