Dear Sir,

I am presently employed at one of the IITs (Autonomous Government Organizations). I applied for a higher role in a different IIT through the appropriate channels. My current office duly forwarded my application, including my Vigilance Clearance Certificate, 5 years of APAR, and other relevant documents. I have since received an Offer Letter from the new IIT, requesting me to join within one month.

In response, I submitted my Technical Resignation to my current IIT, seeking to be relieved from my present position. However, my current IIT has formed a Handing Over Taking Over Committee. Despite this not entirely aligning with Government Rules, I cooperated with the Committee and supplied all the necessary documents, files, and a Status Report.

The Committee has examined these documents, but they have stated that an administrative check of the documents referenced in the Status Report is still pending. Even though it has been more than 3 months and 25 days, I have yet to be relieved as the Committee Chairman has not closed the report. An interim two-member Committee has also been established to review the documents administratively.

The new IIT has extended my Joining Time until 30 April 2019. I request your advice on the next steps I should take.
