SAP will become obsolete in another year or so with the emergence of new cloud-based ERPs like SuccessFactors. Your SAP expertise today will be outdated tomorrow, and you will have to learn new ERP systems. Companies also keep on migrating to newer ERPs after a few years. Hence, it's better to get trained in future skills required to excel in HR roles like AI, VBA macros, automation, Lean Six Sigma, and data analytics.
