ESI paid means she was paid in wages register. If the department ignores this, then she will get leave paid benefit. Otherwise, her Maternity benefit will be stuck in jeopardy as the employee cannot take payment from both ends.
ESIC has no correction measure from employer side, but the employer has to rush to SRO/RO deputy director with facts and records to make necessary changes.
