Sir/Madam, I obtained an Employees' Pension Scheme (1995) Certificate in 2010. However, this certificate only contains my old PF Number (TN/TAM/xxxx). I am 52 years old and currently not employed by any company. I have already informed the EPF about my current address, providing proof through my Aadhar card. Despite this, I am unable to find any details regarding the update of my scheme certificate on the EPFO Website/UMANG App.

Please clarify whether it is necessary for me to update my KYC now. Additionally, I would appreciate guidance on how to obtain a UAN number using my existing PF Number.

Thank you.

EPS is applicable at the age of 58 only. At that time, you should file Form 10D duly certified by your employer or bank manager with Aadhar to EPFO. They will find out your UAN.

UAN is allocated to all employees who have paid contributions within January to June 2014 and afterwards. Prior to 2014, members have to either visit the EPFO to get their UAN or ask their employer for the alphanumeric employment ID and UAN.
