I need advice on PF transfer from one account to another. Here are the details for your reference:

I worked in Company "A" from Feb-14 to Aug-17 and Company "B" from Aug-17 to Nov-17. I left Company "B" for some personal reasons and joined Company "C" in Nov-17.

I shared Company "A" UAN number with Company "C", and Company "C" is remitting my PF share to the same UAN account. I did not share Company "A" UAN number with Company "B", so Company "B" provided a new UAN number. Company "B" has remitted 03 months of PF share to the new UAN number.

My query is, can I transfer the Company "B" PF amount to Company "A"'s UAN Account? I used this UAN only for 03 months.

Dear HRD,

It would be better and easier for you to transfer Company A and B to Company C as you will then have track of the same. Note that if you transfer Company A's PF contributions to Company C before transferring Company B to A, then the transfer will get rejected as your PF account will be closed in Company A. So, yes, you can transfer; there is no issue as such.
