Dear Sir/Madam,
I worked in a company from February 2012 to January 2014, and Provident Fund (PF) deductions were made from my salary. However, upon resigning from my position, my employer has not settled my final pay (last month's salary and arrears) to this date. How can I proceed to claim this amount?
Upon inquiring with the PF office, I was informed that only Rs. 17,000 is available, despite my monthly contribution being Rs. 1,620. Furthermore, upon reviewing my FORM 16, it was noted that only Rs. 8,100 was mentioned for the Assessment Year 2013-2014.
Kindly advise me on the steps I should take to secure the settlements from my employer and how I can verify the PF contributions made by my employer to the EPFO office between 2012 and 2014.
Thank you for your assistance and guidance.
Warm regards,
