Guidance on Registration Process under the Contract Labour Act for Employers - CiteHR

Can anyone suggest,

As per the Contract Labour Act, registration is compulsory for the employer to employ 10 or more workers. However, the project has already started, but we have only 2 workers on-site. Should I wait until we reach the specified limit of 10 workers, or should I initiate the registration process and apply for the labor license?

If you’re employing less than 10 workers then it’s not labour license is not required. You can obtain labout license once you reach more than 10 workers. Regards, Manish
