HRA is not mandatory in AP. So if you want to consider HRA ac component of CTC, then you may consider HRA to be 10-15% or so of basic pay.

HRA is not mandatory in many states, but for tax exemption purposes, it is calculated. In general, HRA is calculated as 50% of the Basic for metro cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, while for the rest of the cities, it is 40% of the basic wages.
