Hi,

My ESIC contribution started in February 2017, and so far, I have completed 90 days in the contribution period of ESIC. Could you please advise me on when I can avail the benefits for the contribution period from April 2017 to September 2017? In my ESIC account, the maternity benefit reflection is not showing, so I understand that I am not eligible to claim the benefit for it. My Expected Due Date (EDD) is the last week of October. Kindly advise me on the procedure to claim maternity leave benefits.

Checked with ip no. Maternity benefit is reflecting No and medical benefit is YES. Kindly let me know how much time it will take to start this benefit

EPF: I want to know if Form No. 11 and Form No. 2 are necessary, and if we need to file with the PF office along with Form No. 9 that we need to submit to the PF office.

ESIC: When does maternity benefit start from? Also, is it okay if the employer signs the E Pechan card? Please confirm.

Medical ESIC certificate is generated when we have taken the PRIT E Pechan. Is it necessary to submit it to the ESIC local office?

Transfer of ESIC Contributions

Please advise on how I can transfer my ESIC contributions from my new account to my old account. I already have an ESIC account, but my new company created a new ESIC account from February '17. My previous company did not deduct ESIC because my salary exceeded the criteria. However, following the new law, they deducted ESIC in January '17 and created the account. In February, I joined a new company, and they created another new account.

Claiming Maternity Leave Under ESIC

Now, the issue is that I need to claim maternity leave. According to my company, I need to complete 9 months of service with them for the claim, and the confinement date is next month. It is necessary that the leave is under ESIC for me to be eligible. Without ESIC, I have no rights to take leave.

Please help and advise on what steps I should take in this situation.
