Hello Friends, I need your opinion. I was working as an employee at one place and took projects as a business consultant from other NGOs as well as profit-making companies. All of them were without any pay or compensation; I took on these projects only because I wanted to learn things.

When my employer found out about this, he fired me. I accepted the termination, but not the reason, as they labeled it as dual employment, and I knew that I was not an employee of any other organization.

The reason for acceptance was "Abusive language by employer" - "Dhakkhe mar ke bahar nikalo sale ko."

Now, they are not releasing my F&F amount and not even replying to my emails. When I called HR, she said that the Director of the institution refused to release the amount because I was fired for serious reasons and told me not to call her but to contact the Directors directly.

There was no investigating committee where I was given a chance to speak or state my facts.

It's been a month, and I have not received any termination letter or F&F money yet.

Please suggest how to proceed.

Nikola, in this situation, it's crucial to take specific steps to address the non-payment of your Full and Final (F&F) settlement. Here's a practical guide on how to proceed:

1. Document Everything: Keep records of all communication with the company, including emails, phone calls, and any written notices.
2. Review Employment Contract: Check your employment contract for clauses related to termination, notice period, and F&F settlement.
3. Contact Labor Authorities: If the company continues to ignore your requests, consider reaching out to the labor department or relevant authorities for assistance.
4. Send a Formal Letter: Draft a formal letter to the company, outlining your grievances, the amount owed to you, and a deadline for payment.
5. Seek Legal Advice: If necessary, consult with a labor lawyer to understand your rights and options for legal recourse.
6. Follow Up: Regularly follow up with the company via email or registered post to ensure your concerns are documented.
7. Consider Mediation: If direct communication fails, explore mediation services provided by labor organizations or legal entities.
8. Stay Professional: Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions to strengthen your position in case legal action is required.

By following these steps, you can assert your rights and work towards resolving the issue of your pending F&F settlement.
