Can anyone suggest how to approach a leave policy for an IT/ITES establishment with a pan-India presence, especially concerning Paid/Earned Leaves, Carry forward, and encashment of earned leaves?

Since IT/ITES establishments are covered by the States' Shops & Establishments Acts, it is advisable to conduct a comparative study of the leave provisions in these Acts. By selecting the most beneficial provisions as the uniform standard for your establishment, irrespective of its geographical location. There is no provision for the encashment of earned leave during the course of service. However, periodic encashment cannot be deemed illegal.
