Hello all,

I need help in understanding this situation and getting advice. My husband is an expat and was teaching at a school in Delhi. The school shut down suddenly, and he got his salary after a lot of chasing. Now we are struggling with his PF withdrawal as their HR is nowhere to help us. How does an expat withdraw his PF if the organization is shut down?

Thank you.

EXPAT: This word defines that the employee was working in a country other than his own native country.

EPF withdrawal is not an issue if KYC compliance is completed. Get the same checked with UAN login from the employee's self UAN number.

Ask him to visit the PF Office in Delhi and meet the PRO. They will tell him what he has to do. The employer no longer has any power to interfere as there is no need even to get a signature of the employer in withdrawal, provided of course, they have paid the PF to the government.
