Dear sirs,

I am working in a private ltd company as an HR professional. In my company, some permanent staff members have leave balances as EL or PL. At the end of every year, they have their leave balance, and the previous HR used to carry forward their leaves to the next year. Now the query is, they have more than 100 leave balances on their cards. What can I do? Is it okay as per the law, or should the leaves lapse after a certain period? Please advise.

if the employee is not wiling to take leave, they can apply for encashment of leaves accumulated
