please clarify : minimum period for gratuity one who completes 4 years 6 months one day , he is eligible or not ?

For gratuity amount calculation, 6 months and one day will be rounded up to one year. However, for eligibility, 6 months and one day will not be rounded up to one year. Hence, those who have a service of only 4 years 6 months and one day will not receive gratuity.
