Yes, of course, I have completed my B.Tech and Master's in Chemistry and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. I am also interested in the HR/Compliance/Social auditing field. It is a very interesting field, and I think you should consider trying it out. I have worked on some very good projects in ERP/SAP for HR, and I believe the future lies in this area.

There is no specific eligibility for learning SAP HR. Obviously, one needs to have some knowledge and a liking for the subject they want to learn. SAP training institutes are purely commercially run organizations, and they offer training to anybody who will pay their hefty fees.
The point here is, will you be able to understand and implement HR concepts and ideas without formally learning them or without having any experience of them? Your aim would be to seek a relevant job after completing SAP HR training by paying hefty fees. Mind you, you will be competing with all those who have completed two years of full-time post-graduation in HR and/or those who also have years of working experience in the HR field. The choice is yours.

I have worked for 2 years in Australian SAP HR. Based on that experience, I secured a position in Indian Payroll SAP at a reputed company and am receiving good pay. I believe one does not necessarily need to obtain certification, but if you have the opportunity to work on SAP, it's beneficial to learn as much as you can. SAP is consistent worldwide; only the components vary according to different countries' payroll requirements.
