Hi,

Very recently, I joined a service provider company where I'll have to handle the PF & ESI procedures from employees' joining until they leave. I want to know which PF or ESI forms need to be filled at the time of joining or at the time of leaving. What procedures or deductions are likely to be done? Do I need to study any specific books to update myself?

Waiting for your valuable feedback.

Hi,

Ours is an exempted PF Trust. Due to the company separation (due to a slump sale, the company is separated into Remain Co and Spin Co), it will be split into 2 Trusts. I would like to know if the reserve created in the consolidated Trust will also be split between the 2 Trusts or if it is going to be retained by Remain Co in the existing Trust.

Before sharing these kinds of posts, you better do some study on that. Many times, this topic has already been discussed. First of all, please check whether you have ESI & EPF registration.

Dear Rachna,

Please visit the online sites of ESI and PF. Download all the forms and take some time to understand the intended uses mentioned in each form. This will help you identify the applicable forms and processes. Feel free to ask specific questions, and we will provide solutions in this forum.

Thank you.

Ok, I have gone through about EPF. I got the information that the recent amendment in April '16 was that we can't withdraw the full EPF before attaining the age of retirement. Is it true? Can we withdraw the full EPF before attaining the age of retirement?
