Hello,

I have a large batch of portrait images which our HR staff has taken. I need to crop out a facial profile from each image for preparing ID Cards. It will take a very long time to do this manually; we may even need to hire someone. Is there a software solution to do this? Please advise.

Thanks

Hi Max,

There are a lot of scanners nowadays that automatically segregate photos into individual file names. Play around with the scanner settings, or else scan the photos and edit them in Microsoft Picture Manager.

Hope this solves your issue.

Hi Max, you can crop batch images using PhotoElf software. This is very good software for cropping images. It can crop 1000 images within a minute. But before using this, you will have to scan all the application forms of employees. It is necessary that the place of photo pasting should be fixed because this software requires a specific place on the application form. All the images should be pasted in a particular place. I hope this will help you. If you need any help with this problem, you can email me.

I finally found the exact solution I was looking for. This software, named Face Crop Jet, can detect and crop faces from photos for ID Cards in bulk. Interested people, take a look here: https://facecropjet.com
