National and Festival Holidays List for 2016
I am preparing the National and Festival Holidays list for 2016. In this list, two mandatory holidays (May Day and Gandhi Jayanthi) are falling on a Sunday. Our employees have requested that since these holidays fall on a Sunday, which is a normal holiday, we should select two other holidays that fall on weekdays so that they do not lose these holidays.
So, my questions are:
1. Can I select two other holidays instead of May Day and Gandhi Jayanthi, which fall on a Sunday, a regular holiday?
2. Can I select two other holidays instead of May Day and Gandhi Jayanthi and mention these under the list or at the bottom in a note that they fall on Sundays?
3. Or is it not possible?
