Dear team,

Firstly, I would like to thank the team for the wonderful advice and suggestions given. I am writing this because I am very much confused about the amount retrieved from my PF account. I request the team to please help me out in this regard. I have not closed the PF account; I have transferred it to my new company.

1. I joined Company A on July 1st, 2013, as a trainee where my Basic pay was INR 8,747, and PF was INR 1,050 monthly (Annual CTC - INR 280,049).

2. I got my confirmation from Company A on Nov 1st, 2014, and effective Nov 1st, 2014, Basic was INR 12,614, and PF was INR 1,514 monthly (Annual CTC - INR 385,701).

3. I quit Company A on Aug 11th, 2015 (note that after Nov 1st, 2014, my pay did not increase or decrease). Aug 11th was the last day of my notice.

4. I joined Company B on Oct 28th, 2015, and gave my PF details to them.

5. On Nov 20th, 2015, I got my final amount from Company A as INR 16,470.

Can you please let me know how much PF I should be getting from Company A? I would request you to kindly provide me a detailed breakdown as I am new to taxes and all these things. Please help.

Confirm that you joined PF on 01.07.2013. If your statement is true, there is a shortage in your PF. Kindly contact the concerned Regional PF Commissioner's Office with available details.
