I am employed and working diligently and efficiently. I meet all my targets on time and train my supporting staff, who appreciate what I do for them. The problem is my supervisor. In her view, I don't seem to do anything right. I have tried to discuss the situation with her, but since she is talkative, she never listens and regards herself as if she knows it all. I know there are some issues that, if worked upon, might bring our company good returns, but she discredits all I say. Kindly assist me.

Here's What You Can Do:
1. I don’t know to what extent your KRAs and KPIs are defined, but maintain a task tracker and document your performance in it. Seek feedback on a weekly basis from your boss, preferably in writing.
2. Try a different approach to work with her. Just listen to her without adding anything. Seek her guidance.
3. Rather than focusing solely on bringing good returns to the company, think about how you can establish rapport with your boss and get along. If your boss does not think well of you, it will affect your performance rating.
4. Talk to your boss’s boss and discuss the situation with him/her.
5. Observe if her behavior is similar with other team members too. If not, you need to introspect what led to this situation and see how you can resolve it.
6. There are IJPs (internal job postings) in most companies. See if you want to apply for something that interests you more.
7. Write an email to your boss and CC it to her supervisor as well. Be diplomatic in your email, let her know your performance, ask her what she thinks about your performance, and seek guidance.
8. Look out for a new job!
