Apart from motivation, what telecallers and telemarketers in India need to be groomed in is etiquette and communication styles. This is the worst area in their attempt to connect for sale or promo, leading to instant dismissal by prospects. The conversation rate becomes abysmally low, not justifying the ROI on the callers.
