You cannot delete the entries once you submit the registration details of any person. Once you submit the registration details of an IP, an insurance number is created upon the generation of TIC/MAC. You have only one option to delete the IP from your list. When posting monthly details for remittance, enter zero days with an appropriate remark therein.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you.

Approach the ESIC to find out the proper procedure. After all, you will not be the only HR in India to have made wrong entries & ESIC will certainly have some procedure for the issue.

You cannot delete already uploaded employees. However, there are some ways to avoid contributions to them. For that, you have to enter 0 in the number of days worked column. If you put 0, you must select the reason for 0. Possible reasons may include: no work, LLP, or not belonging to our employees. If you select "does not belong to employee," you can avoid the contribution.
Moreover, at the end of six months, if they are on the roll, their names will be automatically deleted.

Respected AK, this was not a big problem. There are two ways to deal with this issue:
1. On monthly uploads, mark "Does not belong to employer," then the issue is over (but this is not the best method).
2. You can write a letter to the ESI IT officer and Branch Manager to delete wrong entries and also to adjust the amount if uploaded wrongly. Everything is possible. If they have doubts about the number of employees, you can invite an ESIC inspector to your company; he will help you out.
All the above advice I gave with my experience. This is a very minor issue that can be solved very easily.
