Hi All, thanks for guiding me on PF transfer issues. Could you please help me with the same? I joined HCL Technologies in 2012 (HCL has a PF Trust). During joining, I filled out the PF transfer form for my previous company (IBM has a Govt. PF), and later it got transferred to HCL. I resigned from HCL and left the company without serving the notice period. I joined a new company, NIIT Technologies. NIIT also has a PF trust. For the last 2 years, I have been trying to get my PF transferred through NIIT (filled out the PF transfer form and sent it to HCL). I have sent the transfer documents to HCL twice, but they are not helping with the transfer. Even now, they are not responding to my emails. I included the PF commissioner's email ID in the same mail chain. Is there any way to apply only for the PF transfer from HCL PF Trust to NIIT PF Trust? Could someone please advise what I can do next? Thanks, Mahender

Thanks, Abbas and Sumit, for the assistance. Yes, I processed my PF transfer through my current employer. When I asked for an update with my current employer, they said that they sent all the required documents to HCL, who are supposed to send the PF amount cheque. I have been asked to contact HCL. When I contacted them first, they said that they did not receive the documents. I then requested my current employer to resend the documents. However, once again, they did not receive the documents. So, I asked the courier to provide a document delivery copy via email, which they did. Even then, HCL is not confirming whether they received the documents or not. I am not sure what to do.

Dear Mahender,
You may contact the concerned Sub-Regional PF Offices because it is the primary duty of EPFO to facilitate the transfer of accounts. If the account is managed by an exempted trust, the exemption is also granted by EPFO subject to certain conditions.

Dear Mahender,
You have the right to approach the PF Commissioner of the concerned RO/Sub RO PF Offices. It is the duty of the PF authorities to facilitate the transfer. Simply, regularly approach the PF office and pressurize them as per hierarchy. Definitely, things will move forward.
